Cuz i read a guinea pig book and i wanted 2 knoDo guinea pigs in Peru juss Run around like big rats or do they live in a special place?
When I was in Peru, the guinea pigs were often part of the family...almost like kitties, hanging out in the house, eating things that folks would put on the floor for them, like veggie rinds, etc.

So, they definitely weren't like rats, more like pets, or chickens or something...but in most cases people would eat them or give them to someone to eat.Do guinea pigs in Peru juss Run around like big rats or do they live in a special place?
They live in houses like dogs or cats.
They have a big population in Peru. However, if the local people in Peru keep having them as their special meal, don't think the poor guinea pigs will last long. :%26lt;
they get eaten. but they live in coops like for cchickens but recentyl there are becoming more popular as pets.
