Compare mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters and guinea pigs and rabbits?

I'd like to know (minimum, if possible) startup costs for:

mice

rats

gerbils

hamsters

guinea pigs

rabbits

weekly costs, (food, care)

and how much care it needs.

It would be helpful to know if it needs to be neutered or spayed or regular vet visits.

THANX!

Dunno much about guniea pigs and rabbits except that their cages cost around $100+.

Hamster:

$5 - $10 each.

Cage costs $50 - $150.

Food costs $5 - $10 per bag, which can last several months (lab blocks are ideal)

Bedding costs $10 - $20 and can last several weeks to several months depending on size of bag. Aspen and Carefresh is best.

Cage should be cleaned AT LEAST once a week.

Rat:

$10 at a petstore (not recommended), $20 - $25 at a breeder or shelter

Cage cost $100 - $200

Food costs $5 - $10, and can last several months (lab blocks are ideal)

Bedding costs $10 - $20 depending on size and can last several weeks to several months. Aspen, CareFresh or paper-based cat litter like Yesterday's News is ideal.

Cage should be cleaned AT LEAST once a week.

Rats NEED at least an hour outside their cage EVERY DAY.

RATS SHOULD BE KEPT IN SAME SEX PAIRS IN A LARGE WIRE CAGE.

For both you should find a exotic vet that specializes in small animals. They may charge a little more than a normal vet, but they have the proper equipment and knowledge.Compare mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters and guinea pigs and rabbits?
For hamsters They buying price (for the actual hamster) would be 10 - 12 dollers and the cage can be expensive or cheap like 30 dollers and i guess the food would be 7 dollers the hamster ball would be 10 dollers so if you really want to pamper it i guess 70 dollers but normally it would be 40 dollers in all approx. they dont need much care but they do need cage cleaned every week and food and water every day etc
Hamsters are very cost efficient. They cost about 5 bucks to buy, and their cage, hut, water bottle, food dish and wheel cost about $100. Then bags of food and shaving cost about 15 dollars a month. Also, you can buy hamster cages second hand on Craigslist.com or ebay.com. Just make sure thier safe.
