I have two female rats and a male hedgehog and they both arnt fixed. im scared to put them in the same playpen. I doubt they can but i was just wondering if anybody knew Thank you!Can hedgehogs and rats breed?
No, they are two completely different species. However, I still wouldn't recommend putting them together. Rats are opportunistic predators and will occasionally attack another animal. Putting two animals of a different species together also isn't recommended as they communicate on different levels and it's very easy for a miscommunication to end in a bloody fight.
