Where can i keep 12 lab rats for my upcoming science fair?

Bin cages are easy to make at home. Here's a fabulous tutorial: http://www.evergreenrattery.com/careguid鈥?/a> It sounds as if you'll need to build several to split the genders, keep living conditions sanitary, and prevent fights. Use a cage calculator to find appropriate sized bins. http://www.rattycorner.com/odds/calc.sht鈥?/a>

I want to let you know that I have 4 rats and find that I'm already busy as heck, with 12 you have alot of work ahead of you.

For a project or not they deserve proper care, rats are high maintenance pets contrary to popular belief. If you need more care information (diet, behavior, health, bedding, etc.) you can refer to the following link: http://www.petratscanada.com/ratcare.htm

Finally, I want to touch on the fact that rats aren't very easy to rehome and you have TWELVE. Start looking for homes now and reconsider using a live creature for a project next time.Where can i keep 12 lab rats for my upcoming science fair?
You can't use animals for a science fair, in either K-12 or college, without permission from your school. They have to approve this kind of research in advance, so I hope you've already got clearance from your school.Where can i keep 12 lab rats for my upcoming science fair?
try diiferent places like 4 underneath a sink in a cabinet, 4 in maybe a bathroom somewhere if it's big and 4 maybe in a closet or a room or the laundry room, just make sure they stay in there cage!!!
keep them in a cage or large plastic container at a local store with a hole cut out for breathing. if you're trying to hide them, put them in the backyard - preferably around some trees
If you put them in your pantry, I doubt they'll leave
you are going to need a steel barred cage. because they will chew thru everything..
