In a foreign country, I once saw some dead rats hanging by their tails on a fence by a wheat field?

Is that something farmers do to help their crops? In a foreign country, I once saw some dead rats hanging by their tails on a fence by a wheat field?
Sun-dried dinner tomorrow night! In a foreign country, I once saw some dead rats hanging by their tails on a fence by a wheat field?
