What fruits and vegetables do pet rats like?

They're not picky at all when it comes to fruits and vegetables, I find. Rats have a very diverse pallet.

Here are things to watch for, though. Don't give rats these:

Raw sweet potato.

Oranges (if the rats are male. Higher cancer risk so they say)

Raw tofu unless from a sealed package

Those are the only no-nos I know of from fruits and vegetables. What fruits and vegetables do pet rats like?
A pet rat will NEVER bite unless it is introduced to meat ..so avoid kibble dog food , beef bones..ect They like raisens alot, nuts left 1/2 in shell to chew out...they like all veggies but go easy on that stuffWhat fruits and vegetables do pet rats like?
Pretty much anything, and they can also have a little cooked meat, providing it isn't too salty. And eggs. My rat really likes brown bread, chicken and pears. But they'll eat almost anything. There's a BIG list here, which I read, and seemed accurate with other sites smaller lists.

Only thing I've seen you shouldn't give, is anything oniony, garlicy or citrus, which they say a small amount is OK. But I know people still base it on other animals, whereas rats have very capable digestive systems.

But really, anything without citrus or onion is definately safe, as is cooked veg.
well any fruit that a hamster likes.
